Damage and Toughness
Health damage and toughness damage are separate results of a hit. Health damage reduces HP. Toughness damage is stagger pressure and does not add to HP damage.
A label such as Magical damage: Attack x 1.296028 means the hit uses current Attack as its base and marks the result as Magical for magical bonuses and target mitigation.
For a multi-hit skill, add the health-damage coefficients for total potential health damage and add toughness values separately. Do not combine toughness damage with health damage.
DPS uses total health damage and repeat time. Repeat time cannot be shorter than the adjusted cooldown or charge availability and the action’s animation lock. A skill page that lists no animation time gives a partial DPS answer.
Open Combat Mechanics for the formulas, then use a skill page for its hit-by-hit values.
