Data used by the wiki
Section titled “Data used by the wiki”WikiTactics uses Google Analytics 4 only after you choose Allow analytics in the privacy control. Analytics may receive the page URL, referrer, browser and device details, approximate location derived by Google, consent state, and pseudonymous identifiers. Choose Necessary only to keep analytics disabled. You can change the choice later from the privacy control. Map progress and unsaved tool state stay in your browser.
Accounts and community content
Section titled “Accounts and community content”Signing in is required to save or publish builds and to like or comment on public builds and guides. The wiki currently uses the GameDB account service for these features. GameDB stores your account ID with that activity. Your email is not shown with builds or comments. If your GameDB profile is public, your chosen display name and avatar may appear as the author.
Submitting a guide requires a GameDB account. GameDB stores the guide with an internal account ID so it can be managed from that account; your email is not included in the guide record. Author profiles are private by default. If you make a profile public, your chosen display name, profile picture, bio, and guides you choose to list can appear across GameDB wikis. You can switch the profile back to private, hide individual guides, and edit or remove profile details in account settings.
Build drafts, library entries, likes, comments, review status, and moderation history are stored without an automatic expiry date. Build submissions and comments are checked for profanity and other safety terms. Flagged content is held for review; automated checks do not delete it. Use the site feedback form to request removal of your community content.
Patch alerts and feedback
Section titled “Patch alerts and feedback”Patch alerts are optional. GameDB stores the email address and selected wiki needed to send alerts. The address is private, and every alert includes an unsubscribe link. An unsubscribed record is retained to prevent further messages.
Feedback may include the page URL, page title, message, and any optional name or email you enter. Do not submit passwords or private game logs.
