Dew tells you that the memories within Drífa's soul are relatively intact, and she may know more about Brandrgarde's past. It would be wise to visit the melancholic yet stubborn little girl, Drífa, near the wagon in the camp for a chat.

Drífa has revealed the truth buried beneath the mining disaster. The Flesheater was no natural monster, but rather their father, Otto, who had been driven to the brink step-by-step by the soul experiments.
